uPVC cleaning for cladding, frames and doors

uPVC does not need replacing nearly as often as people think. Most of what looks like age is surface grime and algae, and it comes off.

What the job involves

I clean cladding panels, window frames, door surrounds, sills and porch panels. Everything is treated, agitated by hand or soft brush where needed, then rinsed with pure water so there is no soap residue left drying on the plastic.

Rendered and pebbledash walls are handled with the same soft wash approach: a biocide treatment that kills the algae and lets the weather carry it off, rather than high pressure that would blow the render off the wall.

It is common to book uPVC alongside a fascia clean or a gutter clear, since it is the same visit and the property then looks consistent from top to bottom rather than clean at the top and grubby at eye level.

Why it's worth doing

The benefits of upvc cleaning

Cheaper than replacing

Cleaning sound cladding and frames costs a fraction of new panels.

No streaks or residue

Pure water rinse means nothing dries on and hazes the surface.

Safe on render

Soft wash treatment for rendered and pebbledash walls, never high pressure.

Consistent finish

Frames, sills, doors and panels all done, not just the easy reach areas.

Will very yellowed plastic come back? +

Surface grime will. Plastic that has genuinely chalked or oxidised in the sun may only improve rather than fully restore, and I will be upfront about that.

Yes. The windows are cleaned as part of the uPVC clean.

Do you also offer render cleaning? +

Yes. Render cleaning is available alongside uPVC cleaning.

Can this be done at the same time as gutter cleaning? +

Yes. Multiple exterior cleaning services can be completed during the same visit.
