What the job involves

I clear gutters using a high reach vacuum system operated from the ground, so there is no ladder leaning against your fascias and no boots on your roof. The vacuum lifts out moss, silt, leaves and nesting material, and a camera on the pole lets me show you what was up there and what it looks like once it is clear.

Where a run is packed solid, or a downpipe has blocked at the shoe or a bend, I will clear it by hand from a ladder rather than leave it half done. Downpipes are rodded and flushed so the water gets all the way to the drain, not just past the first joint.

Terraced and stone built properties around Haslingden, Helmshore, Rawtenstall, Waterfoot and Bacup often have deep, older gutter profiles that silt up quickly, and the tree lined valley sides do not help.
